Our next project is a very broad brief on landscape. I have decided to look at a subject I considered earlier this year for our first year night time brief, The bridges of the river Hull.
As someone who has lived all of his life in this town, I have spent 43 years going back and forth across that muddy brown trickle of water. I have tried to estimate how many times I have used one of the bridges of Hull. The best estimate I can come up with is on average it must be at least once a day for every day of my life... which works out to about 16,000 times... probably more if you think that you must cross it twice if you cross it once..
everything else is still being considered...
